What is PTE Academic UKVI?
PTE Academic UKVI is a Secure English Language Test (SELT) approved by the UK Home Office for visa and immigration purposes. The test content and format are identical to standard PTE Academic — the same four skills, the same question types, the same AI scoring — but it carries a Unique Reference Number (URN) on the score report, which is a mandatory requirement for UK visa applications. Without the URN, a standard PTE Academic result will not be accepted by the Home Office for visa purposes. The test includes additional identity verification measures at the test centre, including biometric checks and enhanced security.
